Online publication of videos of the youth conferences held in Canada last summer

A series of 14 videos describing what participants learned at three youth conferences held last summer in Canada has been posted on the Building Community website.

One hundred and fourteen such conferences were called worldwide by the Universal House of Justice, the world governing body of the Baha’i community. Three of them were held in Canada: Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver.

While other youth conferences are being planned for Canada, a series of videos recorded at last year’s conferences is now available for viewing on-line. The National Spiritual Assembly, the national governing council of the Baha’is of Canada, has called for another series of ten conferences to be held in Halifax, Montréal, Toronto, Ottawa, Waterloo, Saskatoon, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, and Kelowna.

The themes of the videos include friendship and mutual support, the advancement of civilization, and the role of the youth in society. They are in French or English with subtitles in the other language.

Another series of videos, this one of all the conferences held around the world, is also available for viewing on the website of the International Baha’i community. They were produced at the Baha’i World Centre and their central theme is “To Serve Humanity.” They reflect the discussions of the youth who participated in the 114 conferences held around the world.
