The Baha’i Community of Canada re-launched one of its national websites which has undergone major design changes, including the addition of social media features.
The website, formerly known as “Transforming Neighbourhoods,” has been remodeled and renamed as “Building Community” and is now located at www.building-community.ca. The site has been given a new format and navigation.
This website features short videos of the grassroots community-building efforts underway in neighbourhoods across Canada. These undertakings of the Baha’i community are aimed at promoting individual and collective transformation in the life of society.
Activities – which are open to everyone – include meetings that strengthen the devotional character of the community, classes that nurture the hearts and minds of children, groups that empower youth to serve their communities, and study circles aimed at applying Baha’i teachings to individual and collective life.
The website explores the learning and experience gained through these collective efforts, and encourages video contributions to some of its sections.
